Good chap, good quick bowler, let himself down a bit in his brief sojourn with Sussex (signed as a local on the basis that he wouldn't play as a domestic player in Oz then signed for Qld after one match) but the sort that you want in your team.

Ben Dorries is doing a live chat on that link now, if anyone wants to go on there and tell him what a chump he is.

    Dorries I mean, not Rhino.

Don't know how some of these journos get jobs, dorries clearly has no idea about sport in general, let alone cricket.
The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

I asked, in the blog, if he'd been replaced by Craddock on the road (which he has).

He let that aspect of my question go through to the keeper. lol

It's staggering isn't it...although I recently applied to a journalism course in Brisbane and submitted a piece on how Mike Hussey should be dropped from the Test team

(Before the 1st Test obviously...I might've walked straight in to Ben Dorries job if I'd suggested it after the 1st Test)

My thread title all too terribly prescient.

Awful news for a bloke who really deserves better from the gods of fortune.

Feel for the guy. I cant say Ive been overly impressed with him as a bowler but I have been impressed with his outlook towards quick bowling and his "don't spare the horses" mentality to bowling fast. I admire the way he plays cricket. Shame really.
