There is a slightly porcine quality to the boy's fizzog, tbf.

Warne doing his bit for the Victorian spinners' union here. & he does have a point too for my quid.

Smith gone. Jesus, not a test six's arse, frankly.
Only a kid though. Seems unnecessarily spiteful.

Ah well, another day, another Aussie top order collapse. Hussey can't bail them out every time either... hopefully Clarke and Haddin get them to something competitive and we get another interesting low-scoring game like Perth.

Must be tough for the young guys and the out of form players. The groundsmen are preparing wickets for their seamers but it really gives their batsmen a tough time.

The first two tests were played on complete roads and they still failed.

Australia should really have brought in Khawaja for Smith in this match.. considering they don't seem to be using his bowling.

Someone wants to tell Haddin it's a test match. Looks on the wrong side of the positive/reckless divide just now.

BARNES OUT
**** it's hard to care about cricket at all when you despise all but 3 players in your side and they're all out already. Wish ESPN were showing the OKC vs. Denver game.

Right well it's unfair to expect Hughes and Smith to perform on these pitches when Ponting and Clarke can't do the buisness on flat tracks.

That would have been some catch if Morgan could have caught that, crap batting from Clarke. Really good tight bowling from England.

Watched a couple of episodes of Yes, Minister during the rain break. Such a great series.

Clarke is beginning to look good here, I think.
