I just noticed as well, Weekes was literally 2 runs off making that 9 in a row, with a 48 followed by another half century.
Reckon Weekes holds the tons record too.....

Yeah indeed he does. Gotta say, I'm kind of suprised Bradman didn't have at least 6 half centuries in a row. I mean to him a century was like a half-century to everyone else. It would be very interesting to know how many consective half centuries/centuries Bradman got in FC cricket, although I have no idea where those records are kept...

Weekes has a ridiculously good record actually, never seemed to get talked about that much when it comes to all time great debates.

The three Ws are obviously iconic but feel they do get overlooked at times on an individual basis, maybe something to do with Headley before and Sobers coming after; anyway this is ridiculously off topic.

Interesting choice of words.

"It just depends how tough the person is I guess. That's probably the biggest thing with it all," Siddle said when asked about Anderson's side strain.
"If he's tough enough to bowl through it, he does. If not, he misses the game.

Oooh. Spicy.

If we're seriously considering Bresnan ahead of Shahzad I don't know what to say.

Would be much more confident with our batsmen facing Bresnan than Shahzad, tbh.

Shazhad is just so inexperienced, though. At least Bresnan has played on the big stage, and with some success.
