When he's on his game he's a terrific off-side player. Looks like he's playing himself into form nicely with this innings.

If they aren't already out, England will probably declare between lunch and tea tomorrow with a lead of around 500. Two and a half days should be plenty of time to bowl Australia out especially since they have a quality spinner. Declaring now would be pretty silly unless there was a strong chance of rain. Probably wouldn't make a difference but why give Australia the chance to set a possibly tricky target in the final innings?

The Aussie batting might be bolstered if Ponting is suspended.

Hypothetically, who would Australia bat at 3? Hussey? Maybe Katich if he is fit?

Wouldn't it be awesome if this match somehow resulted in a draw...1-1 going into the final game at Sydney, at the best ground and best city in the country.

I figured it was out, when watching live. We didn't get confirmation, right?

It would be but unless it rains for a few days or Australia bat like maniacs I don't see Sydney being a live test sadly

What about a bouncer that is filth? ie Johnson's numerous bouncers 2 feet down leg side.
