So with the second test done, let's turn our attention to the third...

I tell you what...

I'm a massive Clarke fanboy as everyone knows, but if he doesn't score second dig his place will seriously come into question - although we have to drop North first

It seems like for this test we finally have gotten our act together. After Pontings 2nd innings 365 and Harris' 8/15, Australia can really feel like they're on top of England after such a resounding win again in Adelaide.

If Marcus North plays this Test, all my faith in the Aussie selectors would be gone and I may just stop watching cricket altogether.

Especially if the deck is shuffled again with the pace attack.

But he's due again :laugh:

He actually will probably score a ton I feel.

Ponting's FCA was only 349 and Harris would only have gotten 7 if Eng had not used up all their referrals on the first 2 balls of the innings

If North scores a ton and is pivotal in drawing this match, he can stay in the team as far as I'm concerned.

Katich is injured, get Hughes in.

Hughes > Kaitch in:
- Test Average
- Test SR
- Age
- Better Test 50/100 conversion rate
- Test High score
- Better runner between the wickets
- Smiles hard all day
- Lots of heart
- Has just 2 less sixes whilst playing 48 less matches

Hughes > Everyone in:
- Youngest player to make 2 centuries in 1 Test
- Shield Record = greatest two-innings contribution to a team's game total
- And he can play this shot

You're not seriously suggesting playing North as a specialist spinner are you? Geez, I at least was just having a bit of a laugh, but...

North is a much better spinner than Doherty.
