Australia to win, and that too fairly comfortably!!
Keeping my Aussie bias aside, I just think if Australia are to lose in Australia, and that too, to England, then we would have to play some seriously poor cricket, and still England, would have to play extremely well, in order to win, both are things, that I don't see happening.
The other thing is, some are saying this is England's best chance to beat Oz in Oz, all I want to ask these people is, how many test series has England, actually won outside England, in the last 4 years!?

And what relevance does the performances of a side from 3-4 years ago have on today?
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

What I'm trying to say is, that English have been poor travellers, when you have a look, at their recent performances away from home.
So it would require a serious turnaround, on their part to come to Australia, and all of sudden, start performing away from home!!

We haven't lost a Test series home or away since early 09. South Africa couldn't beat us, so that was hardly a horrific trip

You can't say that you were the best side on it though. Having your #11 tough it out is all well and good once or twice (or three times...) but I wouldn't start counting on it.

Not our fault if sides fail to take their chances to win games and we do when they come along.

First thing first, England don't tour much, and whenever they do, they don't perform that well.
The South African tour wasn't a horrible one, but it was hardly a success, and if Poms put up a similar show in Oz, they won't have a certain Mr.Onions to save 'em!!

Meh, I'd take a 1-1 in the upcoming Ashes.

You guys would have lost 3-1, had it not been for Onions heroics with the bat, he isn't around this time, and from the looks of it, Panesar too won't be in the XI for repeat of Cardiff.

Well we've not done that great, but bear in mind that we've mainly been playing against teams ranked in the top 4 in the world.

If you mean we don't play thousands of meaningless fixed ODIs in Sharjah then you might have a point. When it comes to Tests, we play as many as anyone else, home and away.

We and we'd have won 4-0 if the South African batsmen had all scored runs and Anderson took 10/0.

'course not. But as I said, you can't rely on it on a regular basis.
