Was comparing O'Keefe to Doherty, but I agree with benchy. There's a reason O'Keefe bats ahead of Hauritz for NSW and averages 50 odd.

It's because he bats eight - he runs out of partners and ends up hitting out or finishing with red ink a lot.

His average flatters him really but he's a genuine allrounder. He's definitely a notch about Hauritz and Doherty as a batsman.

We Aus A batsmen will likely go about batting normally, at least for the balance of today, with preservation of wickets perhaps being the emphasis.

Tomorrow morning, assuming we're reasonably well placed, we'll look to press on a bit.
