Pretty common criticism of the Australian bowlers.
Common criticism of Aussies bowlers in general. Always has been.

In fairness, have seen plenty of guys in grade cricket yanked off for conceding too many searching for swing. Conditions just don't support it in general so the bloke who is back of a length and tidy is more likely to get opportunities.

can't see kevin or trott getting out to close catchers on the leg side.
?

Can see Trott going in that area occasionally, they mentioned it earlier. Don't think bowling inconsistent lines = a plan though. If they were hitting one line consistently and then changing it up every so often then yes.

Well OK that's step one - realising what handedness the batsmen is. Now to pitch it up.

EDIT: But have it still bounce on the pitch please

Has Cook even played one full blooded drive yet? All his scoring shots have pulling short rubbish, clipping off his pads through the onside or dabbing it into off and picking up a quick single. Not exactly complaining though as it seems to be working for him.
