    Need big runs for Hussey here. Clarke's clearly unfit and is being owned by the short ball (ffs, he's being made Broad's bitch!) and we can't rely on Norff to knuckle down either.

    Last ball by Swann was more like it,been way too short so far and Hussey has been onto it so quickly.He looks in good nick does Mr Cricket.

    tbh, this is why it's so hard to bowl spin in Australia. The even bounce means even if you're really ripping the ball, the batters can play right back and have plenty of time to adjust. You can't really adjust by bowling much fuller either or you'll give up half-volleys.

    Warnie had it right in Bris, use the bounce rather than going for big spin.

    England have done really well to keep Australia down to 2.81 RPO. Not many manage that bowling in Australia.
