Dar could very easily have given it out (considering they had to peel Tony off the ceiling of the combox when it was given not out), but if he didn't feel he'd hit it I wonder whether what we got from the replays and Hot Spot would be enough.
Hotspot uses (relatively) low-res, uncooled IR cameras. There's a very real possibility that it would miss a nick so the lack of a signal won't rule out an edge. That's why they don't use it, I'd guess.

EDIT: An experiment to see how many nicks they pick up would be very interesting, tbh.

Good bumper from Chris jr, Clarke didn't look too clever playing it. I'm guessing his back is inconveniencing him, went down slower than a reluctant high school prom queen.

Does Clarke's back issues restrict his ability to duck or weave the bouncer? As he did nothing with that one just turned his head and took it.
