It was awkward to say the least. Would have been a tidy take on the second attempt if he did it.

I really wish he'd have caught that; he's gonna bowl the rest of our team out now.
In affectionate remembrance of Australian cricket, which died at the Oval on 23rd August 2009. Deeply lamented by a large circle of criminals and bar staff. RIP.

Front arm, and lack of work on it. Hopefully it gets a bit better as the Test goes on, as I reckon it's a sign of nerves. Looked a lot stronger in the other times that I've seen him this season.

Not that dropping a catch will help.

Think it's the way he sort of "skips" into his action, if you know what I mean. Harris doesn't really get off the ground when he jumps into his action, Doherty looks similar in that respect.

Pretty generous assessment I reckon. International cricketers should really be taking those every time.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

Please don't remind me. Nothing aggravates me more than dire, over-rated cricketers who shouldn't be in the team and aren't even from NSW costing NSW Shield games.

Yes, straight into his hands...if they were attached to the top of his head.

Should've taken it, but it didn't hit him in the chest.
