Congrats England

Been a good series, were the better side in three of the five matches and it's a win well deserved. Did it without their best batsmen as well, which is a fair effort.

I should feel a lot more devasted but I don't for some reason.

Well done to England. There'll inevitably be a lot of Australian moaning about their side, but it's an inexperienced team on a looong tour miles away from home, and contrary to what their fans would have had you believe pre-series, England are no mugs. Especially at home.

God, you really are an annoying grouch.
Honestly, I don't care what you think about my personality, but you don't start a thread when a team is 327/5 congratulating another side for a series victory.

Next time Australia tour India, maybe I'll start a thread at the start of the series saying Well done India on retaining the Border Gavaskar trophy as well.

If you did so with the series all but over in the final Test then I'd have no problems with it. Right now you're just being typically dour and argumentative.

Australia had 0% chance before they set foot in India last time, and Id venture to think that it will be the same again next time as long as Johnson and co are still around and they dont have a half decent specialist spinner.

Nonetheless,I am done with this, I'd much rather be arguing with someone about cricket than someone's thread starting quality.

As I said, typically dour and argumentative.

That said, I do agree we have 0 chance against India in India and would struggle against India at home as well, right now.

Should just get rid of Siddle and Australia will start winning more matches.
There's no way Siddle was the worst Oz bowler in this series. Johnson was horrific - even when he was bowling "well" he was ****. Only when compared relatively to how he had been bowling could it been considered "good".

Siddle has looked more likely all series.
