Personally think it's ridiculous that we need to restart because a few Aussies got knocked out. Look, you can play it however you want to, but we're going to stick to the spirit of cricket here, thanks.
In light of this, can we resume the original comp? Don't see any reason to restart and, without wanting to be a cock, it's very unfair on the relatively few of us who called Oz not winning.

Hope not, or I'll be wasting small fortune in flight and hotel.

    Okay count me out.

Just seemed odd to start a new round on the final day of the Test is all.

    Shenanigans, as Murphy would say.

Original comp to be reinstated. Due to the confusion not many people have submitted their answer so it will probably be over quickly anyway.

The question for Day 1 of the Second Test is:

Will 6 or more wickets fall on day one of the second test?

    The following people remain:

    Brumby: No
    SBI: Yes
    Pickup: Yes
    tozzer: -
    marcuss: No
    fertang: Yes
    chalky: Yes
    kp4captain: No
    GIMH: Yes
    four_or_six: Yes
    inbox24: Yes
    Pothas: No
    Adam: Yes
    Redbacks: -

Have counted chalky and Pothas' votes since it wasn't obvious which question they were answering, but if they want to change their answers they can. (Edit: also counting kp4captain's no vote as he answered in time even though it was clearly for the wrong question; unfair to expect him to check this thread after already answering and I forgot to send him a reminder.) If I've missed anyone let me know. Everyone else needs to get their votes in by the official start of play (10:00 GMT - just under four hours from now) per Brumby's instructions.

As an olive branch to those who already answered BI's question, I will expedite this round and start a new round on Day 3 that everyone can participate in.

Nah, keep your olive branch, will only add to the confusion.
