Series Result: Australian comfortable victory. Weather too unpredictable to go for an exact scoreline.
Top Eng Runscorer: KP Pietersen
Top Aus Runscorer: Brad Haddin
Top Eng Wicket-taker: James Anderson
Top Aus Wicket-taker: Mitchell Johnson
Player of the Series:
Surprise Packet: Brad Haddin
Dropped Player(s): if MSP, Lee and Onions play any Tests as first-choice (which is possible to near-certain) then I can quite see 'em being dropped. Also find it conceivable though not out-and-out likely that Prior and Cook might go.
Miscellaneous Event (AKA random wildcard): two cases of on-a-hat-trick with a hat-trick resulting in neither.
