Thought Clark would play, so that's obviously stuffed that one. I'd go with Hilfenhaus if I'd known who'd play, never fancy touring raw pacemen to do particularly well - it's more the FM types that prosper. Broad has been generally ****e, but just couldn't see the other bowlers doing particularly well other than Flintoff who'd probably get injured - and players of the series are more likely to be bowlers anyway. Reasonably happy otherwise.

Should never have doubted my own genius. Looking a bit better now.

Knew Broad would come good. The rest are incorrect atm, but I just need Siddle to pick up 2 and Hilfenhaus to go wicketless in the 2nd innings to get both leading wicket-takers correct =]

I've just won the LMS, but I am so far off in my series predictions it's not funny, The one I've bolded being the worst, Hussey as leading run scorer wasn't a great shout either, nor was Collingwood, Anderson and Johnson lol.

Top Aus Wicket-taker: Johnson - could still happen
Player of the Series: Anderson - no
Surprise Packet: Broad (I won't be surprised myself though) - winner
Dropped Player(s): Lee - never picked
Miscellaneous Event: CW will run slowly throughout the series because of the amount of murray mint pics posted by Burgey - not too much actually
Certainly not bad by my standards

Surprise Packet: Broad. Will take at least one 5-for and score 2 half-centuries.
Dropped Player(s): Lee, Sidebottom, Hauritz
Miscellaneous Events: Pietersen will continue the wounded prima donna act throughout, Hauritz will take wickets at Cardiff but get destroyed on less responsive tracks, Sid's back and weight will plague him, Watson will be injured & the distance between Prior's batting and keeping skills will become so great as to threaten the space/time continuum.
Ha, mostly shockers. Still have a chance of 2-1 Oz (although desperately hope I'm wrong, obv), Mitch is there or thereabouts & Broad as surprise packet pretty much spot on, except I underestimated his bowling.

Selectors/injuries did for KP & Hughes tho, in mitigation.

Top Eng Wicket-taker: Anderson - won't happen following Broad's return to form.
Top Aus Wicket-taker: Johnson - still possible
Player of the Series: Hughes - just no
Surprise Packet: Lee getting back into form - didn't have the chance to
Dropped Player(s): Bopara, Prior, Panesar, etc. - Both Bopara & Panesar did. Prior did not though.
Miscellaneous Event: England getting raped in the first 3 games before Australia slow down. Australia showing that their T20 form was just a blip on the radar. England to get cocky in the media after "below average warm-up". More to come when I CBF thinking about it. - wrong on all 3 accounts.
Pretty fail on the face of it.

Changing this to Clarke, looks far and away the best player on tour so far.
Chuffed with my Clarke call. Rest is rubbish - Hauritz was dropped, though a bit unfairly.
