Series Result: Aus 4-0 (one rained out)
Top Eng Runscorer: Sidebottom (bowling runs)
    Top Aus Runscorer: Hughes

    Top Eng Wicket-taker: Anderson -possible
    Top Aus Wicket-taker: Johnson
Player of the Series: Clarke -possible
Surprise Packet: Ronald Macca. Callum Ferguson
Dropped Player(s): Ronald Macca. English Selectors.
Miscellaneous Event: Ronald Macca to hit winning runs/take winning wicket in one of the tests.
Optimism bordering on insanity from english fans to reach new heights after prior hangs on to a catch. -Optimism warranted, Prior hasn't been as dire behind the poles as i was led to believe by posters of this forum.
KP to change his hairstyle, along with Broad and Onions -Possible, what else has KP got to do now?
Ponting to change his gum on the hour, every hour.
The sun will shine Terribly wrong.

Avatar now by choice. 5-0 in the Ashes and all.

Top Eng Wicket-taker: Anderson Looking good
Top Aus Wicket-taker: Johnson Amazingly still realistic
Player of the Series: Anderson Best batsman, bowler and fielder on either side, disgrace if he doesn't get it tbh
Surprise Packet: Broad (I won't be surprised myself though) eeek
Dropped Player(s): Lee Never got a chance
Miscellaneous Event: CW will run slowly throughout the series because of the amount of murray mint pics posted by Burgey He didn't even post any when Jimmy was hooping it everywhere on Friday
I did more recent predictions than these on the ashes blog, looks like these might wind up better haha

Top Eng Wicket-taker: Swann Looking pretty doubtful
Top Aus Wicket-taker: Siddle Needs to do a lot
Player of the Series: Johnson As above
Surprise Packet: Broad and Swann 0/2
Dropped Player(s): Sidebottom and Monty (if they play) for England, Lee for Australia Bang on about Monty, less so about the others
Miscellaneous Event: Michael Hussey to find form again, Monty won't play more than one Test, and Lee will play his last Test for Australia Watch this space re: Hussey, and right about Monty so far
    Pretty terrible really.

    Top Eng Wicket-taker: Broad Oops
Top Aus Wicket-taker: Katich Not yet off the mark...
Player of the Series: Broad Um... big oops
Surprise Packet: Collingwood I'm not surprised but... he's done okay.
Dropped Player(s): Clark. Kind of right, I think.
Miscellaneous Event: Watson to score first hundred. Roll on Thursday.

Top Aus Wicket-taker: Siddle looking iffy
Player of the Series: Siddle (Aus) Prior (Eng) - if you have to choose 1, Siddle hmmm
Surprise Packet: Siddle, Prior Prior doing the business here
Dropped Player(s): Lee, Sidebottom, Panesar. Rashid Monty - the rest, nowhere
Miscellaneous Event: Haddin takes his first Test wicket in the closing stages of a tedious draw on a road at Lord's. You all saw it happen, just like I did

Top Eng Wicket-taker: Anderson - looking spot ON
Top Aus Wicket-taker: Johnson - not yet out of the question, despite his direness.
Player of the Series: Hughes - so wrong it's not even funny
Surprise Packet: Lee getting back into form - hasn't had the chance to do so.
Dropped Player(s): Bopara, Prior, Panesar, etc. - Panesar has, Prior hasn't, Bopara hasn't yet...
Miscellaneous Event: England getting raped in the first 3 games before Australia slow down. -umm yeah good call.
Australia showing that their T20 form was just a blip on the radar. - sorta right I guess.
England to get cocky in the media after "below average warm-up". - dunno about this.
More to come when I CBF thinking about it.
    ...
    5-0

    RIP Craig Walsh (Craig) 1985-2012
