If Phil Hughes doesn't score 1 100, then someone can choose my avatar for a month.

England will win a match, and KP will score a ton or two fifties in that match.

he will do that easy i reckon, good chance he will get a few.a series average of 50 for hughes is quite achievable.

i like the sound of that bet so i will through this out there for someone.if hughes dont score a 100, you pick my avatar for a month.
i hughes scores 1, 100 our avatars stay the same.
but if hughes scores 2, 100 i pick your avatar for a month.i think thats a pretty good bet.

You can't have an avatar bet where both posters are backing the same thing.

Australia will achieve at least one innings victory.

Winner gets to designate avatar of their choosing to the loser for a period no less than 29 days but not exceeding 31 days. (number of days to be chosen by winner).

Any takers?

I'll have Andrew Strauss as my avatar until the next Ashes if England win the Ashes.

My bet is taken. But I'll take yours for now. Though my avatar can't be changed for about a week or so

No worries, IF aust don't win by an innings until the fifth, I'm happy to wait the 3 months clapo will have until mine comes to affect.

Whenever we lose this, that'll make 6 defeats out of 6 Ashes Tests since you joined CW.

In the time before yours it was 10 games, 5 losses, 3 wins, 2 rain-affected draws that would've been wins had lost play been able to be made-up. England had just lost an Ashes four-one before CW came into existence.

Debatable on the draw at The Oval tbf, though I agree we'd have won, many would disagree

If you suddenly told the players on the last afternoon that there was going to be a sixth day I think it's irrefutable England would've won. However, if it'd been known all through the whole game that a draw would only happen once 450 overs had been bowled, the game would've taken a completely different course as Australia would never have stayed on and been ripped apart by Hoggard and Flintoff on the fourth afternoon.
