If he has played a test or game of shield cricket, probably yes. Hilfenhaus would miss out for mine.

I would take Lee, Clark, Siddle, Bollinger, Watson/McDonald as the paceman, and McGain/whatever spinner takes wicket for the spinner.

    No.

But you'd think that he should get in over McDonald. Better batsman & bowler.

Is the question about whether or not he'll go on tour, or be picked in the XI?

I wouldn't pick him in the XI, due to past performances in England in his prime.

    Clearly.

Anyway, made my thoughts on this very clear over the last day or so.

Agreed, I'd pick him for the tour if he was fit but not the XI.

He is as good a batter as McDonald has shown so far.

Hope he tours at the very least, else in the unlikely event England win it'll be "Lee should've been in the team" as one of the ubiqitous excuses made by the masses (not neccessarily that much of CW).

It's extremely unlikely, of course it is. But it was unlikely in 2005 as well - more so, in fact. Sometimes, the unlikely comes to pass.

If Lee has some match fitness, I agree. If not, Bollinger/McGain should be in.

Yeah, it's obviously based on that assumption. Tour matches will be very important here.
