I'm just saying
RIP Craigos. A true CW legend. You will be missed.
Well given that his great innings today has released a bit of pressure off his shoulders and has bought some time in the Australian side, I think he can be consistent. Not only with the bat but with the ball.Originally Posted by Prince EWS

This is a joke of a thread.
Cribb is entitled to his opinions. He dislikes watching Symonds play, as do I. He enjoys watching Watson play, so do I. So yeah, we have a bit in common. Symonds is a hell of a cricketer, and has all round cricketing skills that make him probably the most valuable player in the world when he's in the coloured clothes.
He played a great innings today which will no doubt see him in the test side for a long time to come (Bradley Hodge will no doubt kill someone if it does), but it's no secret Watson would've been, and should've been, ahead of Andy for this ashes series. Symonds has lacked a lot of direction in his several test match opportunities so far. He's looked like a walking wicket for the majority of his test career and despite some brief bowling cameos, we'd all agree his bowling is hardly worthy of all rounder status.
Anyway, Watson's done nothing in ODI's recently? You're a harsh judge if 29 with the bat (with 3 50's) while being shuffled down and up the order faster than a yo-yo and and 17 wickets @ 17 is a bad return. Batting could surely be better but one can hardly argue against his bowling in recent times, especially since he's been swinging it, as well as making a lot of runs for Queensland and Australia A in the FC arena (which is obviously his preferred form).
Was a great knock today, though.
