You expect him to say "Oh, despite Colley making a double hundred and myself 158, I think we'll lose horribly"? That happened, but you wouldn't expect them to be negative, would you? Just like McGrath saying he thinks it'll be 5-0. You wouldn't expect him to say "I think we'll lose a few matches" would you.

A game of confidence, which wasn't on their side on the final day of the test (except, perhaps, Hoggard and Collingwoods side)
