Gilchrist should definitely be there ahead of Knott though. Gilchrist's record against England isn't quite as good as his test record, but Knott's two centuries in 34 Ashes tests doesn't cut it for an all-time side. Ames would be a better bet if you want an English keeper-batsman.

I went for Tallon over Gilly cus of his greater keeping ability. You don't need the extra batting with Miller and Botham at 6 and 7, and well you got Bradman in the team.
