Jaques was pretty shaky early on, but he's playing really well now. 16 overs of spin to come now, one assumes. Should be interesting to see how they go against some aggressive batting.

I like the length that Panesar is bowling. Nice and full, with a nice touch of flight. Giles as always is flat and Birt creams him for six over long on.

Yeah Birt looks to be a tremendous player. Surprised his List-A average is so low, given that he looks perfectly capable in the shorter form, but I guess that will probably go up.
Nice platform for a score around 300 here. |
