From my perspective, him and Clark are both so irrelevant with the bat that I didn't bother to get it right. Whatever floats your boat ... :)

Clarke would have pleased the selectors with the bat yesterday. I'm still not convinced Watson is a test bowler or test batsman at all...so I'd rather go with Clarke.
Symonds has, unfortunately, had enough chances.
If we want to play MacGill, may have to play 5 specialist bowlers. It worked recently. Gilly is back in form, Lee is nearly an all rounder and Ponting + Hayden are a good assurance for lots of runs.

Definetly not a fan of a 5 man attack.... the english bowling line-up won't be something to just be sniffed up, even if there are a number of injury concerns... Gilly isn't exactly "back in form" either. 1 Century against Bangladesh (yeah the other batsmen did suck) doesn't exactly equte to be being back in form, so i'd still like the assurance of an extra batsmen, and going by tuesdays performance, Clarke is the man for the Job!!!

Err Martyn beats Pietersen any day of the week, anywhere in the world and against any opposition
Apart from last year's Ashes, obv.

Actually, I'd say Pietersen is potentially a better player anyway. He just needs to stop chucking his wicket away when well set.

Sorry I voted for three - hmm must learn to follow simple, clear instructions better.

Disregard my vote for Hodge - I voted for Clarke and Watson.

I'd rather see Clarke in the team than Martyn. I know how good Martyn is, but he simply doesn't interest me as a batsman and I find him difficult to watch - I suspect this is my loss, I don't know why this is the case, but the guy annoys me. I'd much rather watch Clarke bat.

Watson to cement his spot.

I think Watson has to be there for the 1st test, especially if he gets a decent run in the ODI side to prove his worth. With him I chose Clarke purely because he is more likely to impress in the Champions Trophy than Martyn, which means he has more chance to get his spot.
