Nash will keep getting out for 30s because they've abysmal stamina. Basically you've got 2 batsmen you can rely on for runs - the two openers - after that you'll be lucky to get anything against a decent team. With Battrick's OD engine you basically have guys who average 100 or more, as your openers have done, then there's a big drop. You need to have more reliable bats and less bits and pieces batters of the mediocre, competent variety and the proficient-woeful types. These won't help you win games, they'll get a few against crap teams that you'll thrash anyway and maybe one decent 30-40 a season against a good side. You need to get Nash's stamina up and then they'll be a be a reliable scorer for you (obviously they'd need promoting up the order when the stamina is better).
I presume you're still training Elvins, you need to keep doing this for a while and get them up to superb+. I would recommend selling Lockwood, you should get 300k minimum and get in a boring young trainee batsman like the one I've got:
4. Steven Obrien - 17 yo, BT Rating=6,527
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with woeful leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: respectable Concentration: competent
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: feeble
They're nothing special, but they've got the basics and you only need to give them one batting net (although I'll give them some stamina training eventually) but they're solid and in a couple of 18 week seasons they'll have 3 extra levels of batting without you hardly having to do anything. There should be a few of these players on the market on a Tuesday (ie when people do their YP and list them straight off).
