He pushes all the right buttons for me too. I think MacLaren will end up as whoever's selected's No 2 - the guy's an absolutely brilliant coach.

If we were looking ahead to 2010, my dream ticket might be O'Neill and Pearce - the Clough legacy 35 years too late (should have been Clough and Taylor in 1974 or 1978 at the latest).
