Completely agree. It's sort of like the Darwin theory, other people (Packer) sort of put the background work in, and then Darwin (Dalmiya) put it all together and made it make sense.
And Packer clearly did do it for selfish reasons. But he also managed to make one day international cricket the cash cow of modern cricket that it is today.
