1) Uhh, probably because it is really hard to get a hit? Its not like they are using cricket bats here..
2) Yeah, and look at the consistantly high crowds baseball draws right throughout the season.. While cricket may as well forget high attendances for pretty much all domestic games, and all but the best test matches..
