Neither did they bowl to him in tests in his prime. Whereas the Englishmen did. Having taken the time to look at the stats it proves the Eng bowlers of the 30s to be as good as a group as Tyson,
Bedser, Trueman, Statham and
Bailey. Mind you DGB faced even 2 of those bowlers after the war. (highlighted). He also faced Laker and Wardle.
