I've heard quite a bit about the stringent EU standards in pharma as my old boss worked as a control systems comissioner in Cork, Ireland. He was shocked at just how little QA is done in our local water industry. Then again, a mickey mouse on/off pump station job is nothing compared with a run of a drug that could be making a batch worth over $100mil.
