Long Gone Day - Mad Season
The grunge supergroup escaped my attention at the time, which, given their members, is rather remiss on my part. FTR Layne Stanley (Alice in Chains), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) & John Baker Saunders (nope, me neither). Helped out by the deific Mark Lanegan on a couple of songs, including this one.
It's reminiscent of all the various members' day jobs, but with a heavy, subtly jazzy vibe & what sounds like a double bass. Recommeded if you like any of said bands.
