West CWLand vs. Denmark

World No. 1 doubles pairing Heath Davis and Jojo Mustard have wrapped up the tie in Stedingham with a dominant win over Danish duo Uffe Jensen and Rasmus Olesen. The Roland Garros finalists knew a victory would send the West into the World Group play-offs, and they started strongly to take a 3-0 lead. The Danish pairing worked back to 3-4 on serve, but were broken down as Davis cracked a forehand to take the first set 6-3.

From there it was carnage - the World No. 7 singles player and his lowly ranked partner were pummeled as they managed just one game from there. Davis and Mustard in the end were far too good - sending West CWLand through to the play-offs as a seeded nation 6-3, 6-1, 6-0.
