I personally don't like having test cricketer, ODI cricketer and then a cricketer of the year categories. I would rather have four awards - best batsman and bowler for each of the 2 formats. Putting batsmen and bowlers under same award category doesn't feel quite right.

And yeah, people's choice is big farce. An Indian cricketer is going to win it every single year. They seriously need to get rid of it, if they have learnt any lessons from ICC all time XI farce.
