In the Trans CWLand clash, Jojo Mustard has earned an impressive grass court victory as he beat rival Jefferson Drake 6-4, 6-4. In a rather bad spirited match for an exhibition, the two were not able to keep the bad blood off the court as they struggled to put aside their differences. It resulted in an intriguing match as Drake shifted between serious mode and mocking mode - he even returned an entire service game against Mustard with drop shots. Late in the sets, though, the pace and the quality picked up as two players who will hope to feature in the second week of Wimbledon showed some of their better tennis. Ultimately, though, it was Mustard who prevailed as the West CWLander won in straight sets.

He will meet China's Zhijun Sun who beat Dwayne Murdoch 6-4, 7-5. In an entertaining affair, the highly rated Zhijun, a former World No. 5, looked like he had recaptured some of his very best form as he tamed the dangerous American slugger in a tight straight sets win. While he plays Mustard, Murdoch now faces Drake in their next matchup.

In the day's exhibition contest, Wimbledon semifinalist Zoltán Varga beat Becker Haas of Germany 6-2, 7-5.
