Ruined my week:

Everyone in my family is out of commission. Mother had a shoulder surgery, father has pneumonia, and I had a 102 fever a few days ago but still getting over a nasty cough. I took a couple of days off from work to rest up but since I'm the least sick, I get to run errands for everyone. Yay.

Made/Ruined further:

My lead is proposing a new structure for our department that would see all groups done away with and everyone would work under one person per shift. Apparently, if it goes through, he would like to see me as the supervisor for my shift. This would mean supervising 15 people as opposed to the 3 I do now. Have a lot of mixed feelings about it tbh. Lots more responsibility and I probably won't see any monetary increase for a long time. Not to mention it would mean I'd have my mentor working under me, which doesn't seem right...
