The wickets Butler took were right at the end of the innings and came close to bringing us back the match, but they were mostly the tail IIRC. Mills bowled wonderfully tight in that match and Tuffey took 3 top order wickets. I hope that by not bowlng Mills in the second warm up it was because he had selected his place in the team by going so cheaply.

Mills. Tuffey, Bond just seem to be a level above Butler for me.

lol at Mills Vettori (and Butler comes close) having far far better years than Oram with the bat.

Also if we count Broom's knock in the warm up (and since it was against a near full strength Indian team we may as well) his average goes up to 24.25. Not ideal but hardly as poor as Oram's 61 runs (if we add his warm up score of 7 he gets to 68 and his average goes down).
