Saturday Special - Most Memorable Last Ball Wins(Don’t Miss this one!)

Here’s The scenario:

Last Ball Coming up. It is a do or die for both teams.

Can you Imagine the Excitement, Thrill, Tension that exists in such a situation?
It could be a recognized batsman or a tailender facing the might of the best opposition bowler.

What can happen?

Runs required.

One needed : Not a difficult thing . If the batsman fails to score the match is still a tie.

Two needed : Still not a difficult thing .Strive for a boundary and go for the runs .If a boundary is made, well and good . If two runs made. The job is done.

Three needed : Running three is difficult. The best option is to strive for a boundary.
Even if two runs is made. It is still a tie as scores would be leveled.

Four Needed : A boundary. Tough. Still doable. It is always good to have the better batsman facing the last ball as the probability is better for him to score a boundary as he would be facing the best opposition bowler.

Five Needed. You cannot run five unless their is a misfield.Difficult situation. Come what may. Go for a six.

Six needed: Really a tough call. The odds are against the Batsman. Hoping against Hope .Hoping for a Miracle to happen. But Miracles do happen.
