Yesterday, Tata Sports Club had an
easy win against the All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board (yes, long name, but no big names in the team), with Rohan Gavaskar and Ajit Agarkar doing the star turn. The bowling figures of that match appear strange. Elsewhere, another fishy rain rule (alternative to Duckworth-Lewis) helped Madras Rubber Factory
win narrowly against the stronger BPCL. It seems BPCL played better, but the rain interruption brought about a revised target needed at a higher run-rate. These rules are confusing. The other matches were rained off.
Match on-
BSNL vs India Cements- again, India Cements look the stronger team.
