BSNL posted 258, with Arindam being the only one going past 50, finishing with 85. Wicketkeeper (?) Varun Kumar scored 49, while Arindam's opening partner Mohapatra scored 42. There were other chunky contributions from four and five, but most of the runs came off Air India Red spinner Chavan. Yuvraj bowled four overs for 24, got no wicket. The wickets were shared between Netravalkar (I wonder how he bowled), Kulkarni and Moondeep Mungela, with two more coming from run-outs. They started rather slowly, but set the pace in the middle-overs.
Air India Red opened with Naman Ojha and Robin Uthappa, and Ojha was out for no score in the first over by Joginder Singh, who scored 27 earlier. Before anything substantial could happen, rain interrupted- and stopped- the match. No more play. In the match in Mohali, there was not a ball bowled and the match was called off, due to- guess what- rain.
