QF2: Brazil v Belgium

So Eden and Thorgan Hazard are both in the WC squad. Has that ever happened before? Two brothers playing a soccer WC for a country?
Kolo and Yaya Toure? I imagine they did it more than once. Frank and Ronald de Boer as well. Did both the Ayew brothers play for Ghana in 2014? Didn't Jerome and Kevin Prince Boateng play against each other in 2014?

There's probably many others that I can't think of.

Didn't see any of last nights game but Brazil hadn't impressed at all in the competition, good riddance to Neymar. Great player but a diving cheating ponce.

Don't agree at all tbh. Thought they looked solid all tournament. Even yesterday they were great in the second half and were a tad unlucky.

Not going to miss Neymar obviously.

Neymar takes away more from the team than he brings imo

Having a certain moral dignity about yourself is an underrated feature of what makes teams think, with actual belief, that they should win, that they would deserve the champions tag. This is not a trivial matter.

Na, laboured to a draw with the Swiss, lucky to eventually beat Costa Rica and won the group as it was so bad. Played well against Mexico but they peaked in the Germany game and they got steadily worse as games went by. As soon as they meet a decent team they got knocked out.

This is possibly the most armchair comment I've ever seen

Didn't say it was the only important factor. Just underrated. Learn to do multivariate analysis ****s

Also not about individual morality but how it affects the team's vision of manifest destiny

Harsh starting to sound like Deepak Chopra or someone here.

And cheating generally pays great dividends in football FFS. Just look at Suarez, Ramos, Maradona etc., or any Jose Mourinho team ever.

Maradona's hand of god heightened the team's sense of manifest destiny tbh. Look at the entire context. Also, multivariate analysis again.
