Sorry, I misread your post. Thought you were going for a "players who represented countries that no longer exist" only draft.

I’ll play - presumably the no Bradman rule will be applied to Robin Friday?

Imagining what the dressing room atmosphere in a German/Soviet/Yugoslav team would be like is rather something.

Luckily for us Robin never got an international cap, otherwise we certainly would have to put in a Bradman clause for him ;-)

Superman himself, AB de Villiers, would also be a quality pick.

Alrighty, then. let's get this show on the road. We'll have 12 hour time-limits for the first round, before settling into 8 hour time limits from round two onwards. Rounds 1 - 10 will feature RNG round orders, whilst round 11 will operate on a free for all basis. So we're just going to be drafting starting XIs, not worrying about subs. You are also free to play your XI in any formation you like.

Remember, you only get one player per country, so when making your picks please include both the player's name & the country they represented. Eg: Pele (Brazil)

    ROUND 1

    sledger
    jimmy101
    fredfertang
    BoyBrumby
    Dan
    AndrewB
    mr_mister
    OverratedSanity
    Johnners

Round 2 is a reverse of round 1. Anyone else who wants to jump in before it's to late is still welcome. Good luck everyone.

Ok, well I'll start with Cristiano Ronaldo in that case.

I guess I'd be a bit of a chump if I didn't select Pele (Brazil).
