Andrew Strauss as top run getter was spot on.

Flintoff was as close to being the worst player as anyone considering the hype.

And but for Monty forgetting number eleven is not supposed to bat well the result might yet have been 2-2

PS I think Ponting did manage to surprise all those who were writing him off with the bat.
