Things Virat Kohli could do...

Whatever it takes!!!
His rollers might have been good for us had he bowled a little earlier. One good thing about the pace and the style he bowls at is that the ball never really bounces much at all and as such from a slightly short of length it will keep lower than batsmen are used to. I think its a reason why Charles mistimed his shot. Too bad none of the other batsmen care to even try to learn to bowl. Not as if any of them is a Bradman or a Kohli..

Against good batsmen and not hitters Kohli would have been meat and drink on that pitch. Buttler gets him over fine leg twice in first two balls, then Dhoni has to drop fine leg and the fun really starts. Windies players just bludgeons though so can't maneuver ball.

Meh, even against adaptable players there's enough risk in these shots to make throwing the ball to Kohli a reasonable gamble. Buttler has paddled the ball onto his own stumps more than once.

I said specifically in the context of yesterday's game. Of course, a Butler and Root could have taken toll of him but then again, they might have struggled against Ashwin and Jadeja...

Depends on the conditions. The last two games India played, there wasn't a lot of turn or bite. Without those, Ashwin and Jadeja are easy pickings.

Yeah they would struggle more against the spinners (not Root but Buttler can get bogged down by left armers sometimes)
