Discussion surrounding the 17th Match of the World Cup between England and Sri Lanka (Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi).

Would think this game is 50/50. This may be as bad a SL team as there has been in recent times in t20. However England rarely line up well against SL and their spinners in asian conditions.

Win and a semifinal against likely NZ which certainly isn't a bad matchup for England even if NZ will be favourites.

England are best price with the bookies 1/2 to win tomorrow, sorry but even with stolen money I am not touching that.

England are favs, but SL know how to beat England especially in Asia.

Beat Sri Lanka in last T20 World Cup to be fair. We should win but wouldn't shock anyone if we don't. Morgan needs a performance

England can't bat first. They haven't got a clue how to read pitches and set totals.

Sri Lanka have become firm favourites.

It's gonna be another nail biter.

Hard to have confidence in this England team, especially with Jordan continuing to be there. Time for him to justify the continued selection. Hard to see England defending anything under 180 unless Plunkett smashed SL's top order.

Bumbles says that one advantage Sri Lanka has got is knowledge of the conditions.

They're playing in Delhi, so in distance terms this is like claiming England possess local knowledge of Istanbul.

But hey, continents are continents right

You don't get to change who favourites are when you feel like it, you know? It's actually a thing that exists.

England 1.53, Sri Lanka 2.5 right now

That massive swipe across the line from halfway down the pitch for no run shows Roy being just too tentative. He should have just been more aggressive and play his shots. It'd be four.
