Very hard to see that given net run rates as far as I can see. Would require SA to beat SL. But SA would surely have a better nrr than England in that case and go through.
SA's NRR could take a bit of a belting here if one of the Windies hitters gets going early. But yeah, England need to (and should) beat SL to qualify if WI do the job here.

Reckon SA are 30-40 short, 130 was a bare minimum target. SA need to gamble and bowl Tahir in the first 6 to try and get a couple early.

A Gayle storm would ruin SA's nrr, not?
Yes but they'd still regain some of it by winning the next game against SL. And England would obviously drop their nrr further if they lost to SL. Given that SA have a comfortably superior nrr currently to England it would have to be some thrashing by windies today and some other things to happen.

This pitch hasn't looked like this all tournament. Groundsman has left grass on deliberately as he was getting pelters.

Windies to win it in 14 overs.

The main problem for WI is that their top-order isn't as good as SA, except Gayle. They have players like Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher in top 3 - if Gayle fails then the powerplay may not be so explosive. On the other hand, SA top-order isn't reliant on one player.
time to test this now
