Not sure about that run out to be honest. Not convinced he had the stump and ball in his hand touching. Stokes the ****wit though there was a single there all day

LOL. England never disappoint in these big ICC limited-overs events.

Always good for a laugh or ten.

Taste it Howe...underestimate Afghanistan on a spinning deck at your own peril

    Bopara? What the ****?

    KP would be in there.

At 53 for 5, Unibet still have England as favourites. I was going there to place a bat on England, as I had expected it to pay out decently.......

    Edit:
At 57/5 odds got even worse... Only at 57/6 Afghanistan became (slight) favourites....
Madness. Exhilarating. Magical. Netherlands have crossed the line in an unbelievable 13.5 overs.
It's like watching a Gayle from each end. And when one Gayle gets out.. Another Gayle comes in...

You still expect a better effort especially when batting first. Before the game I wouldn't have been surprised to see england struggling batting second but thought they would do better batting first.

Bopara will be better than Morgan, Stokes, Buttler and Roy on this pitch

Yes and obviously KP - I left him out because I'm not sure if we can say he's 'English' anymore
