Yeah he was better. That isn't the point though. The point is criticisng someone by comparing them to the best in the business is stupid.

Pakistan and New Zealand its going to big match, Both teams have bowling and betting power NZ have Santner and Sodhi for spin attack, and Pakistan have Amir, Sami, Wahab and Irfan, I don't think that pitch will take turn as much we have seen last matches, I think this will help pace and bounce attack,

You're off your head if you don't think Amir is the best bowler in this tournament.

Amir is really really good but Wahab, Irfan , Sami aren't really that good (Irfan is economical though). The overrating is mostly due to the history of Pakistan having great fast bowlers in the past and is a cliche that present day commentators use as they don't really watch matches not involving their team. Another similar cliche is Indians are really good players of spin, again due to history rather than observation of the current crop. It's Ajmal and Hafeez who made the bowling really good before being banned.

Ross Taylor is really poor against express pace is he not? Remember Ian Chapell also suggesting that

    Not especially, no.

Like many batsmen Taylor is vulnerable early on & struggles to get his feet moving, but once set, he's not especially worried about pace at all. Has scored enough big runs against pace attacks all over to prove that.

Yeah Taylor isn't exactly as comfortable with express pace as McCullum or Williamson but he has never really struggled against it either.

Hey Taylor ended Akhtar's career. That has to count for something.

It was kakmal who ended shoaibs career
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
