Think I would have maintained the 3 spinners, although I suppose they have Elliott and KW himself.

Pretty harsh to drop Finch. Really hasn't done anything wrong in t20 for Australia. And also Hastings, though he's less established in the team I guess.

Yeah not convinced we need that many bowling options in the team.
I just assumed that by picking Agar in the squad, Australia decided they would not go in with two spinners unless they're dropping one of MMarsh or Faulkner. And here we are

Zampa played a lot in India with the A team and he looked promising then but didn't expect him to step up to the Aussie team so soon.

I think this number of bowling options was always kinda inevitable given the squad though. The only batsman they didn't pick was Finch and I don't think they were ever going to pick Finch, Khawaja, Watson, Smith and Warner in the same team. Though you could argue about how much batting order matters I guess, I'm not sure Marsh is actually a better t20 number 6 than the others would be. Squad is just missing a specialist middle order batsman really.

Surely dropping Faulkner would be insane. Marsh or nothing really.
