I might be jumping the gun a bit but I don't think there's much between these teams on paper. Take out Mathews and it's a dead heat IMO.

Speaking of Mathews, he really needs to be batting in the top four and opening the bowling in this eleven. There are way too many passengers for him to just be a role player.

Normally would agree with you about his batting but his form at present doesn't warrant it at present imo whereas as flukey as he is, kapugedara scores well in this format..

Even though SL's bowlers aren't all that great, the step up in disciplined lines and professional bowling plans will be a tough task for Afghanistan's batsmen. I feel like Shahzad and a lot of their batsmen are mediocre bowler bullies.

Yeah agree with this. Think their best chance to win this game was to bowl first and skittle Sri Lanka.
