Whatever it takes!!!
Assuming the wickets are going to take turn, I'd be tempted to play all 3 spinners & go with;

Guptill
Williamson*
Munro
Taylor
Anderson
Santner
Ronchi+ (No choice)
NcCullum
Milne
Sodhi
Boult

Is Milne a decent batsman/hitter? Otherwise the balance might be off a bit...

Is Milne a decent batsman/hitter?
Yup, more than decent enough for a no. 9, averaging 21 with a SR of 98 in ODIs

Otherwise the balance might be off a bit...
We're always going to look a batsman short minus Bmac & perhaps Santner is a spot high at 6, but there's not many options.

I'm possibly being a little disloyal discounting the experience of Elliott, but don't rate him much in T20s & would ideally like us playing those 3 specialist spinners, unless the pitch really says otherwise.

I'd back England to beat NZ in Asia these days as they have the much superior spinners
McCullum's wrist spin is our secret weapon ftr. Not sure this should've been "Mitchell b McCullum 73" last month at all though tbh.

Hmm maybe it did clip. Sorry for casting aspersions on you DdB. ND have done far worse things regardless.

Hazlewood top order hattrick. Might have cemented himself a spot in the side with that, since there would have been some doubt about the decision between him and NCN.

Yeah Milne's a secret gun with the bat; he's batted as high as six in First Class cricket. All part of his schtick as the world's prettiest support cricketer.
Nobody knows it, but Milne's got a secret gun, and he'll use it, only for Cribb.

So use it, improve it, remove this, engine room sadness. Luke's losing, Soult's cruising, but Milne can, save us from madness.

Good to see our middle order conducting business as usual even in warm-ups.

It didn't exactly work out for them in that game, but it was interesting to see West Indies experiment with Holder opening the batting. With Simmons injured and Holder probably struggling to make the team ahead of the other bowling allrounders in this format I think I'd like to see them run with that in the proper games.

Feel that Rashid is going to have a pretty respectable tournament.

If you can even call this a tournament, feels like such a non-event.

Rashid/Willey taking 5 wickets against England whilst playing for Mumbai.

Yeah this tournament has been an absolute joke so far. Worst organised ICC tournament I can remember.

Surely Chris Jordan won't play the world cup? His batting is grossly overrated and shouldn't be needed in such a deep batting line up, and his bowling......
