Kohli is a God. All those pics of him I posted in this thread was the precursor to his match winning innings.

The level of Kholiness in this post is disappointing, I was expecting more.

Bloke really is an incredible limited overs batsmen.

Here's an unpopular opinion: Steyn is a very, very overrated T20 bowler.Thought his length was poor even when he won that game in the last over against NZ. Better batsmen than Nate McCullum would have finished that game comfortably. He swung and missed twice and Taylor would have won the game if he had had more strike that in that over.

So in the end SA probably did better than expected in unfamiliar conditions with a slightly flawed approach but while Kohli played a power innings, AB who was most likely couldn't. SA's strength is pace and weakness spin so these pitches were never going to suit, similar to Australia's attack limitations. The final of Lanka and India was fairly predictable in these conditions.

What Cribb meant to say was "Learn to post ffs".

Only a aw the tail end of the chase, but India looked to be doing it easily. Suspect Francois may have missed a trick in not turning to Steyn earlier, but Kohli in particular looked in control of things.

India will start deserved favourites for the final.
Don't think though Steyn is a huge threat on these pitches and his T20 form seems to fluctuate a lot.

T20 form is always going to fluctuate a lot when bowlers only get 4 overs. Bet you can find plenty of spells in Test cricket where Steyn has bowled dross; difference in Tests is that he can come back and blast teams away.

The decision to give Steyn 18th and 20th overs was poor. Should have bowled 17th and 19th

Yeah, weird post. The guy has two tons in <60 balls in the last year, he's as much a power player as anyone.
It's probably because Kohli doesn't really look like he gets runs quickly, just motors on and on. Dhoni would be seen as more of a power player by most because there is brute strength at play. People generally associate 'power play' with brutal six hitting.

That post was more in reference to the role Kohli plays in the team at number 3. His job is to play throughout the innings instead of playing those 50 off 20 type innings that say AbDev would play at 5 for SA. This is due to the kind of team Kohli is part of which is stacked with big hitters pretty much right throughout. I didn't necessarily suggest he can't play the 50 off 20 type innings because he's more than capable, just that he isn't required to in most instances batting at number 3 because the teams he plays for usually have players who can do that anyway (RCB and IND).
